Rosso di valtellina doc - 2021
Savor the unadorned charm of our Rosso di Valtellina DOC Ascesa, a pure Nebbiolo that speaks with directness and sincerity. Born from Valtellina's mountainous terroir, this wine embraces a straightforward elegance, capturing the essence of the region.
GRAPES: 100% Nebbiolo
VINEYARDS: Tresivio (SO), 480 - 550 m above s.l. , Buglio (SO) 350 - 420 m above s.l.
HARVEST: manual in boxes
HARVEST PERIOD: 4, 8, 13 October 2021
VINIFICATION: spontaneous fermentation without using selected yeasts, followed by a 13-day maceration on the skins
AGING: malolactic and subsequent aging in stainless steel for 20 months
ALCOHOLIC CONTENT: 13% vol.
VALTELLINA SUPERIORE RISERVA DOCG-2019 CONTRADA MORONI
The Valtellina Superiore Riserva 2019, a unique gem from our cellar, is a Nebbiolo in purity harvested from a single vineyard and carefully aged in oak barrels. A refined wine that captures the distinctive essence of its origin, offering a compelling experience that celebrates the tradition of Valtellina in every sip.
GRAPES: 100% Nebbiolo
VINEYARDS: Sondrio, Moroni locality, two vineyards situated at 660 and 690 meters above sea level. We are above the limit of the Sassella subzone, facing southeast.
HARVEST: manual in boxes
HARVEST PERIOD: 2 November 2019
VINIFICATION: Spontaneous fermentation without the use of selected yeasts, followed by a 25-day maceration on the skins.
AGING: Malolactic fermentation in stainless steel, followed by aging in French oak barriques and tonneaux (70% barriques of 4th-5th passage, 30% new tonneaux) for 24 months
ALCOHOLIC CONTENT: 13% vol.
Valtellina superiore docg - 2020
The Valtellina Superiore, THE KING, is a pure Nebbiolo carefully aged in oak barrels. An elegant expression that speaks with depth, bringing in every sip the essence of the Valtellina vineyards. A unique experience, refined and authentically rooted in tradition.
GRAPES: 100% Nebbiolo
VINEYARDS: Sondrio, Grumello (380-420 mt above s.l.) Castione Andevenno, Sassella ( 400-430 mt above s.l.)
HARVEST: manual in boxes
HARVEST PERIOD: 15,17 October 2020
VINIFICATION: spontaneous fermentation without using selected yeasts, followed by a 22-day maceration on the skins
AGING: malolactic in stainless steel, subsequently in French oak barriques (85% 4th - 5th passage barriques, 15% new barriques) for 12 months
ALCOHOLIC CONTENT: 13% vol.
